MOUNT ROYAL COLLEGE STUDENT CLUB TO HOST AIDS BENEFIT ON CAMPUS -- Nov. 6, 2006 -- "Diversity," the student-run gay-straight alliance will be hosting "The HIVe Party" at the college's "Liberty Lounge" on Friday November 24.

"We are very excited for this opportunity to contribute to this cause," notes Christopher Chan, the co-president of the student-run organization. "In our efforts," he adds, "we hope to reach out to students and other youth to spread awareness and education."

Michelle C from soulhome Entertainment will be spinning for dance party, which opens its doors at 9:00pm and will run to 2:00am the following morning.

Tickets will be sold for $8.00 each, while there will be a $10.00 admission fee for walk-in guests. Proceeds will be donated to research and education regarding AIDS.

AIDS Calgary, the beneficiary, will be present at the event, as will the Students Association of Mount Royal College.

Tickets will be available from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Mount Royal College's Wyckham House on Monday November 20, and Tuesday November 21.
